In collaboration with Yüzüncü Yıl University,For the first time in Kurdistan and the Middle East SUE opens a learning centre in Turkish Department at SUE.
In the opening ceremony, The Minister of Justice Sinan Chalabi, SUE president Dr Ahmed Dezaye, Consul General of Turkey in Erbil, the president of Yüzüncü Yıl Universit and a number of university teachers were present.
SUE president delivered a speech in which he shed light on the importance of the centre in terms of learning Turkish language and testing which will facilitate students in pursuing their studies in Turkey.
He also mentioned that, among many, this is one of the academic projects which have been signed between SUE and universities in Turkey. He stated, “We find it beneficial to draw on each other’s experience and expertise.”
Yüzüncü Yıl University president also delivered a speech in which he explained that we highly regard our relation with KRG universities. “Our relation is increasingly developed”. He mentioned that this centre will be of great help to the students who want to learn Turkish in their home country. We also hope that the centre will bring success to the university.
