In his office, the university president Dr Ahmed Dezaye hosted a delegation of ULS from Beirut, Lebanon, consisting of the rector of the university Dr Khalil Chalfoun, General Secretary Antoine Saad, and Ms Mona, a senior lecturer and Director of Higher Education at ULS.

In the meeting, fostering relations and a student exchange programme were discussed. Also, an MOU was signed concerning the exchange of academic staff and students between both universities in order to carry out mutual research projects, academic activities, and publish academic articles. The MOU will foster the academic and scientific relation between SU and ULS, and will become reciprocally advantageous.

Therefore, the terms of the MOU were seen positive and through which SU president hoped that they could get assistance from ULS lecturers to establish a new programme at SU.
