Assistant professor Dr.Ahmed Anwer Dezaye the president of Salahaddin University with the presence of Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies Professor Dr.Ibrahim Hamarash and Director of International Relations Dr.Mohammed Azeez Saeed welcomed a distinguished Hungarian journalist Gyorgy Kakuk. In the meeting, they discussed the campaign of an independent Kurdistan in the international media. Kakuk is known for his support for the stateless nations who have the tendency to become independent countries.
He is a member of the Hungarian main party whose aim is to defend Kurds' rights and make their voice heard worldwide and he is working in the media to organize a lobby to support the independent Kurdistan. Previously Kakuk had a great role in the independent Kosovo and East Timor and the other nations who have announced independency in the 21st century.
In the meeting, the president of Salahaddin University expressed his deep thanks and appreciation for the journalist's endeavour for the nations. It is worth mentioning that this journalist will arrange a seminar in the College of Arts, Media Department and in the University's Cultural and Social Centre and will have a press conference with a number of Kurdistan TV channels.
