As part of the solidarity between Indonesia and Kurdistan Region, especially in scientific and academic-related fields, the Indonesian Ambassador in Iraq Safzeen Nuraddin has met Dr. Ahmed Anwer Dezaye, the President of Salahaddin University.

The Indonesian Ambassador offered all the facilities to give visa to 25 Salahaddin University lecturers who are looking forward to participating in the international scientific conference which will be held in Airlangga University in Surabaya.

In the meeting which was held in Erbil City, the Indonesian Ambassador expressed his country’s willingness to strengthen the academic, scientific and cultural relations between Kurdistan universities and Indonesian universities.

In return, the President of Salahaddin University expressed his deep thanks for all the convenience provided by the Indonesian Ambassador to help Kurdistan lecturers to participate in the conference which is planned to be held in mid-October in Indonesia.
