In the presidency office in Erbil, SU president welcomed a delegation of Islamic Azad University from Sanandaj, Iran. The delegation Dr Mohammed Qurban Kiyani and his accompanying delegate. The delegation expressed surprise at the developments in KRG and of its universities; therefore, they showed willingness for cooperation in the fields of engineering and agriculture. Also, in the meeting SU president expressed pleasure at the visit and discussed the activities of SU and mechanisms of developing an academic relation between both universities. As a result, an academic agreement was signed between SU and IAU.
