In the university presidency office, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Anwer Dezaye, president of Salahaddin University, welcomed a Somali delegation of Mogadishu University of Daarusalaam which consisted of Dr.Othman Muhammad president of the university board and the accompanied delegation. In the meeting, they discussed the relations between Somali universities and Kurdistan universities.
At the beginning and after welcoming the guest delegation, the president of Salahaddin University expressed his willingness to support Mogadishu University of Daarusalaam academically and scientifically.
In return, the guest delegation asked the President of Salahaddin University to offer academic and scientific support to the young people of Somali society especially in the education field and provide higher education places to the students of Somali universities and provide all the facilities to the students and accommodation so that they can get benefits from the scientific and academic experience of Kurdistan Region.
At the end, the president of Salahaddin University dedicated a gift to the guest delegation which was a carpet of Erbil citadel with the university logo on it. In the meeting, Dr. Muhammad Aziz university Director of International and Academic Relations was present.
