Dr Ahmed Dezaye, SU president, met Dr Saywan Barzani, Iraqi Ambassador in Holland. In the meeting, they discussed SU relation with the organisations and universities in Holland among them SPARK organisation which has recently arranged a conference about the Syrian refugees in KRG and facilitating their academic studies. Also, SU has fostered relation with the University of Twente and Leiden University in the fields of GIS, RS, archaeology and split-side PhD.
In their meeting in Leiden University, SU president met the Director of Higher Education in the university and discussed the agreement signed between both universities concerning the split-side PhD.
In the meeting, Dr Jaafar Hussein, a lecturer at College of Law at SU, Director of the colleges of humanities, and a number of instructors at Leiden University were present.
