Assistant Professor Dr.Ahmed Anwer Dizayee “The President of Salahaddin University” with the presence of Dr. Mahmmud Khayat “Head of Architecture Engineering Department” received in the university presidency office a delegation of the united nations of education, science and culture organiazation known as UNESCO which was consisted of: Axcel Platt “the director of UNESCO office in Iraq” and Mai El-Shaeer “the director of cultural sector of UNESCO office in Iraq and Kurdistan Region”. During the symposium, they have discussed the programmes of UNESCO in kurdistan region in all higher education fields such as: ensuring Master and PhD places, quality assurance, education programmes, scientific research and other different specialities fields, also the level of salahaddin university internationally, giving an interest to the traditions dictionary. The president of salahaddin university has expressed his deep thanks to UNESCO delegation for giving significance to salahaddinn university as it is one of the largest universities in kurdistan. Dr. Ahmed Dizayee has also mentioned that the scientific results of the lecturers and the academic activities of the colleges made UNESCO have confidence on us. It’s important to be mentioned that salahaddin university is Number one on Kurdistan and Second on Iraq and has a great place in UNESCO all over the middle east.
