The Vice-president of SUE received a delegation from the Iranian Research Institute headed by the university president Dr Babek Kabudi, the founder of the university Dr Yousef Soboti and the director of relations Rashid Nahandi.

In the meeting, a number of issues including academic relations between the KRG and Iranian universities were discussed. The guest delegation showed a lot of interest in the developments of higher education at the universities in Kurdistan Region. As a result, in order to develop the academic exchange, an agreement was reached.

Following that, Dr Yousef Soboti delivered a presentation about the status quo of higher education in Iran. Other seminars were held in the College of Sciences about physics, chemistry and mathematics.
