In the university presidency office, Dr. Muhammed Rasheed Mukhtar “the acting president of salahaddin university” with the presence of both head of French department/college of languages and head of Archaeology department/ college of arts. They welcomed a delegation of IFPO consists of Ibrahard Kennly “general representative of IFPO” in Lebanon and Dr. Boris James “representative of IFPO” in Kurdistan Region.

In the meeting, they discussed the relations between the mentioned institution and salahaddin university regarding cooperation and coordination about research, archaeology and history, preparation for a mutual conference and opening an exhibition. Also in the meeting, the general representative of the institution has expressed his deep thanks to salahaddin university for providing places for those students who come from French universities to kurdistan to write researches.

At the end, the president of salahaddin university has expressed his deep thanks to the representative of the institution for dedicating some books to the French and archaeology departments of salahaddin university which have benefits for students` education and enriched both colleges` libraries. It`s important to be mentioned that IFPO is a formal institution related to the French government.
