In the university presidency office, Dr.Muhammed Rasheed Mukhtar the Acting President of Salahaddin University with the presence of the Director of International Relationships and Head of French Language Department in the College of Languages, they welcomed a delegation of French Francophone Agency consisting of Harchy Sayozan the director of the agency and Jany Bordya Director of French Institute in Erbil.

In the meeting, they discussed scientific and academic relations between Salahaddin University and the French Francophone Agency in which Salahaddin University is a member.

Also in the meeting, they mentioned sending lecturers and students of French Department in Salahaddin University to Francophone countries. Also in the meeting, they decided to hold a training workshop on translation from French language into Kurdish language for lecturers of French Department in the universities of Salahaddin, Mosul, Baghdad amd Mustansiriya , which will be arranged by this agency.
