On 11 April 2016, in the Cultural Centre of Salahaddin University, with the presence of the Ministry of Higher Education, the acting president of Salahaddin University Dr. Ibrahim Hamarash and a number of lecturers, students, foreign and local researchers, College of Engineering hosted the scientific conference of engineering and modern technology.
The conference includes 88 academic research projects. It is the first time that the participants in the conference from a number of Arab, Asian and European countries take part in discussing the projects.
A specialized board among 130 studies have chosen 88. Moreover, 12 experts in different fields of engineering and modern technology delivered speeches at the conference. The purpose of this conference is to establish a link between Salahaddin University and the accredited universities in the fields of engineering and new technology in order to develop the curriculum and laboratories at Salahaddin University. It is worth mentioning that the conference will last for three days.
