Supervised by SUE president Ahmed Anwar Dezaye, and attended by the dean of College of Law and Political Sciences, teachers and students, Thinking-Art Festival went underway in the College of Law and Political Sciences. A number of activities related to intellect, understanding and art were arranged, and a range of topics were presented.
The first activity in the festival was a seminar about the Kurdistan Independence cause which was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussam Ali. In the first part of the seminar, Dr Abdulhakim Khasro presented a topic titled Independence and Kirmanj Younis presented Genocide and Independence.
In another part of the festival, a music group from SUE performed on stage. They performed a Daf solo titled A Passion for Homeland and Loyalty for the Martyr. College of Fine Arts students performed Breezes of Hope and Old Scars. The festival finished off with a visual art exhibition named Portraits a Gateway to Realisation of the Dreams.
