EvH Bochum University of Applied Sciences in Germany is collaborating with the Department of Social Work at Salahaddin University – Erbil as part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two universities.

As a result of this partnership, the Department of Social Work at Salahaddin University is pleased to announce the launch of the joint program “AI and Social Work – Digital Team-Teaching” for the Winter Semester 2025–2026. This module focuses on International and Comparative Social Work and includes four interactive sessions:

1. An Introduction to AI: Understanding How Generative AI Works

2. Social Work as a Relational Profession in the Age of AI

3. AI and Mental Health

4. What role does human relationship-building play in a digitalized environment?

The first online session will take place on Wednesday, 15 October 2025.

Note: Attendance is only for staff and social work students.
