A symposium on the latest innovations in GNSS technology was held at Salahaddin University (SUE), during which the newest GNSS instruments were introduced to participants.
Mohammed Allaf, Executive Director of Mapcom Company, delivered a speech highlighting the role of the private sector in advancing universities and emphasised the importance of coordination in introducing academic institutions to modern technologies and equipment. He also outlined the company’s key activities and contributions.
Engineer Zanyar Saeed presented the Tersus GNSS instrument in a detailed presentation. He reviewed the history of navigation systems and their use across different stages of development, as well as the technological advancements achieved in this field. He also introduced the latest TS21 GNSS receiver, demonstrating its practical applications and high precision, particularly in the field of geomatics engineering.
