Cosmetic Procedures: Between Treatment and Harm
The symposium will take place on Monday, 5 January 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
Dr Lawin Khosrow Dzeyi, University Lecturer at Hawler Medical University and Vice President of the Kurdistan Dermatologists’ Association, will participate in the symposium. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and Nursing, a Master’s degree in Cosmetology, and is a member of the International Society of Dermatology. Her presentation is entitled: Cosmetic Procedures: Where Do They Lead?
Assistant Professor Dr Ibrahim Sangasari, University Lecturer at the College of Islamic Sciences and a specialist in Comparative Islamic Jurisprudence, will present a paper entitled: Cosmetic Surgery from the Perspective of Islamic Sharia.
Dr Aseel Ishaq Bato, a specialist in Educational and Personality Psychology and University Lecturer at the College of Education will deliver a presentation entitled: Cosmetic Procedures Between Treatment and Harm.
Hussein Ahmed Mustafa will chair the panel. He specialises in Strategic Management and Innovation in Management and serves as a University Lecturer at the College of Administration and Economics.
