Genocide is among the most dangerous crimes facing nations. Many such crimes have been committed in history and Kurdish people, as subjugated people, for a number of reasons, have suffered from extermination and genocide by different powers throughout history.
The genocide of the Fayli Kurds was a brutal campaign carried out by successive Iraqi regimes in several stages and reached its peak during the Ba'ath regime.
For this purpose, under the supervision of president Massoud Barzani, with the support of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the three universities (Salahaddin-Erbil, Duhok, Soran) will jointly organize an international scientific conference in which international and local experts in this field present the latest research, conclusions and historical evidence.
The conference is on Tuesday 2/5/2023 in Saad Abdullah Hall in Erbil at 9:30 a.m. for 3 days.
