Directorate of Health and Safety at Salahaddin University-Erbil held a workshop on Wednesday (4, February 2019) which presented by Assist. Prof. Dr. Media Noori Abdulla and Mr. Faris Zaidan Jarjees. The workshop entitled (Working Safely) in workplace and it took place at Central Library of Salahaddin University-Erbil from 9:00 to 12:00 am. The workshop was targeted to heads and members of Health, Safety and Environment unit. The workshop contents and materials was based on IOSH system for health and safety in workplace. Improvement of health and safety system in workplace was explained in details for the attendants. At the end of workshop, there was a practical activity for the participants to identify and spot common hazards in workplace as well as questions and answers about the health and safety system in workplace as general. Throughout the workshop, the attendants were actively engaged and they have learned valuable lessons about health and safety in workplace. The attendants were excited with the amount of things that they have learned in the workshop.
