In the presence of Dr. Ahmed Anwar Dezaye, Salahaddin University President,Dr. Ibrahim Hamarash, Salahaddin University Vice President for Academic Affairs,European Union representatives for project establishment and assistance to higher education in Iraq, and all the deans of colleges and heads of departments and many teachers, the Directorate of Curricula Development in Salahaddin University organized a workshop titled (from a passive student to a critical thinker). The workshop's aim was to develop and update the four-year curricula of Salahaddin University departments. In a speech, the University President congratulated the students and teachers on the occasion of the commencement of the new academic year and wished them a successful and fruitful academic year. He also expressed his happiness with such workshops that aim to develop and unify the curricula in all colleges of the University. He also reaffirmed the University's full support for organizing an international conference on unification and standardization of curricula. In addition the University President highly regarded the University teachers and staff for their strong commitments to the University despite the hardship that faces the Kurdistan Region. He wished that this year's students benefit from some forms of civic education and national awareness.
