With the presence of 300 university chancellors and members of higher education organisations in Europe, Salahaddin University President Asst. Prof. Dr Ahmed Dezaye took part in the 3rd conference of Arabic and European universities in Barcelona.
In the conference, globalising higher education and tackling the afflictions and hazards on a global scale were discussed. Also, they considered establishing a program in order to deliver aid to the war zone areas and refugee camps through the NGOs.
Also in the conference, the Kurdistan Region universities were commended for having accommodated a large number of refugee students. In another part of the conference, the universities of Salahaddin, Sulaimani, and Newroz in Duhok offered presents to the president of Barcelona University to have generously hosted the delegation of Kurdistan Region universities.
