The summer fieldwork for the Department of Geology and Petroleum Sciences in the College of Science at Salahaddin University has been completed.
This annual summer fieldwork is conducted as a course in the first semester for students transitioning from their third to fourth year of study. It takes place over an uninterrupted 10-day period.
During this fieldwork, students gain comprehensive practical experience in subjects they have previously studied theoretically. Additionally, a group of experienced professors participates in this work, assisting students in carrying out their tasks.
