A number of female academics from Salahaddin University (SUE) took part in a central meeting organised by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for women academics across universities and scientific institutions in the Kurdistan Region.
The meeting was held on Sunday under the supervision of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the attendance of female representatives from universities and higher education institutions throughout the Region.
The session focused on the role of women in leadership within higher education institutions. Discussions addressed ways to strengthen women’s participation in academic administration, decision-making processes and institutional development, while emphasising the importance of supporting and empowering women in senior academic and administrative positions.
The participation of SUE academics reflects the University’s continued commitment to promoting gender inclusion and advancing the role of women in higher education leadership.
