Genocide is the biggest crime that can be done against nations, a large number of these offences have been recorded as a black spot in history, Since the beginning of the Iraqi state establishment the oppressed nation of Kurdistan has faced occupation, hostility, chauvinism, and racism, over many decades this estate with different regimes has carried out several acts of genocide against Kurdistan. The genocide of the Faily Kurds was a brutal and devastating attack, the successive Iraqi regimes carried out actions against the Failis in several stages, culminating in the Ba’ath regime’s brutality in which hundreds of thousands of Failis were displaced, thousands went missing and many cities and towns were destroyed,

With the auspices of his excellency President Masoud Barzani and the support of the prime minister office, All three universities Salahaddin-Erbil, Duhok University and Soran University are to organise The International Scientific Conference on the Genocide of Kurdistan Nation. With the participation of elite scientists, researchers, academicians, and historians specialists of the field both locally and internationally. The latest research and investigations along with historical evidence and documentation will be presented at the conference.
The conference will be held on Tuesday, April 4th, 2023, which coincides the memory of Faili Kurd Martyrs, at Saad Abdullah Hall at 9:30 in the morning and will continue for 3 days.
