Universities of Salahaddin and Ishik organized the 6th annual Visible Conference on Education Studies & Applied Linguistics. The conference was attended by Dr. Pishtiwan Sadiq, Minister of Education, Dr. Ahmed Anwar Dezaye, President of Salahaddin University, Dr. Ahmed Oztas, President of Ishik University and a number of private university presidents and teachers. In the two-day conference around sixty papers will be presented by local and international researchers.
Inauguration speeches were delivered by Dr. Pishtiwan Sadiq, KRG Minister of Education, Dr. Ahmed Anwar Dezaye, President of Salahaddin University and Dr. Ahmed Oztas, President of Ishik University. They emphasized on the development of education and higher education and the importance of language learning through new philosophies of education. They also stated that some of presented researches should be considered in the process of the development of education in Kurdistan.
It is worth mentioning that this is an annual conference aiming to connect researchers and educators in areas of education and teachings of languages and contribute to the development of education in Kurdistan
