SU president, Dr Ahmed Anwar Dezaye has announced that today at 9:00pm in Faranso Hariri Stadium in Erbil, supported by his Excellency the Prime Minister, and abiding by the motto of “Peshmarga…the Guardians of our Independence’’, the 35th graduation ceremony will be held in which SU confers certificates on 3964 students. Also, in the congregation ceremony, the message of KRG president Masoud Barzani which he has directed to the graduates will be read.
It is worth mentioning that SU, since its establishment, has had 75,000 students successfully finished their BA/BSc. SU consists of 90 departments and 14 colleges. Now, the university has 24,000 undergraduate students on the campus and 2000 lecturers among whom 101 are professors.
