With the presence of SU president Dr. Ahmed Anwar Dizayee, Office Head of Turkish Consulate in Erbil Mr. Mehmet Akif, Vice-president of TIKA, dean, teachers and students, TIKA took the responsibility of renovation and accommodation of Turkish department.
In a speech, Dr. Hazem Burhan Mostafa, Head of the Turkish Department, expressed his thanks to the organization for providing for the department in terms of furniture and laboratory.
Moreover, it is resolved that in a near future, as a part of SU and Bilkent University protocol and with collaboration with TIKA, conferences will be held at the departments of the college of languages. All the other departments of the college of languages are to be renovated and provided for.
It is worth mentioning that TIKA is a Turkish charitable organization which has branches in most of the countries all over the world.
