In the university presidency office, the president of Salahaddin University Dr. Ahmed Anwer Dezaye with the presence of the Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies Dr. Ibrahim Hamarash, the Dean of College of Basic Education Dr. Himadad Abdul Qahar and the Director of International Academic Relations Dr. Muhammad Aziz received Ms. Diana P. Hatchett who is a Ph.D. candidate in the College of Arts and Sciences in the Uuniversity of Kentucky in Ohio in the USA.
In the meeting, the president of Salahaddin University declared Salahaddin University’s good will to cooperate and foster relations between both universities in question. Diana P. Hatchett expressed her deep thanks to the president of Salahaddin University and the staff for providing facilities so that she could write her Ph.D. thesis in the Kurdistan Region regarding the Kurdistan schools. The president of Salahaddin University demonstrated his willingness to support her to accomplish her Ph.D. thesis.
For this reason, the Dean of College of Basic Education has been asked to be the leader of the cooperation program with help from the Ministry of Education and its schools.
