In presidency office, Asst. Prof. Dr Ahmed Dezaye, University President, welcomed Prof. Dr Michael Gillian, a political science expert at New York University. Also, Director of International Relations at Salahaddin University, Dr Mohammed Azeez Saeed, was present.
In the meeting, mutual academic and scientific undertakings along with aid for refugee camps were taken into consideration. Furthermore, they discussed sending 15 students from Political Science Department at New York University to Kurdistan Region in January 2017 for the duration of a fortnight. The purpose of their visit, with support from Salahaddin University, is to provide a solution for the refugee crisis in the camps.
