Dr. Ahmed Anwar Dezaye, the President of Salahaddin University, received a World Bank delegation made of Dr. Gasan Khoja, Dr. Zafir and Miss May Ibrahim. The participants discussed a joint technical programme between the World Bank and the KRG Ministry of Planning. The programme includes the establishment of social security and job market projects. The University President expressed Salahaddin University‘s full support for the programme and said that the University is leading the way for the other universities in the Region in implementing academic projects related to carrier center and the department of social work. They also discussed various issues related to curricula, university graduates and unemployment rates in Kurdistan. It is worth mentioning that the one-year joint programme between the KRG‘s Ministry of Planning and the World Bank started on the 15th February 2015 and will be implemented in three phases.
