Asst. Prof. Dr Ahmed Dezaye, the university president, also present Dr Hiwa Yassin, Director of Research Centre, welcomed the consul of the Indonesia Republic in Iraq and his guest delegation.
In the meeting, the relations, especially academic and scientific, between Indonesia and Kurdistan Region were discussed. Also, it was resolved that Salahaddin University will take part in the 6th conference between University of Iringa in Surabaya and UTM Technology on 18-20/03/2017.
It is worth mentioning that the conference is held once every two years and Salahaddin University participated previously in the 5th conference and presented 12 research projects in the fields of Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Physics.
Finally, a mutual understanding agreement for academic and scientific cooperation was signed between Iringa University and Salahaddin University.
