In the presidency office of salahaddin university, assistant professor Dr. Ahmed Anwer Dizayee "the president of salahaddin university" has welcomed a delegation of Greece Foreign Affairs headed by Sofia Jejeco "the representative of the party affairs organization and the deputy president of UNISCO in Greece, Tanasis Cortis "representative of middle east desk in Greece".
In the meeting, Amir Abdullah "representative of European desk" and Ali Pushdari "the administrative and financial representative in the foreign affairs relations of KDP were present.
The discussed strengthening the scientific and academic relations between Salahaddin university and Greece universities. They also concentrated on exchanging lecturers and students and making mutual conferences, doing mutual academic researches especially engineering, tourism and archaeology. This visit can be regarded as the first formal visit from Greece to Kurdistan region. It's been decided to make another visit of high level to Kurdistan to enhance the relations between the two countries.
