Dr. Ahmed Anwer Dezaye “the president of salahaddin university” in Berlin Technological University Campus in Egyptian City of Hurghada participates in the Arabic-European Conference regarding higher education with the presence of the Egyptian higher education minister, 150 presidents of Arabic countries universities, high representative of the European union, German DAD organization and other world organizations in the higher education.
In the conference, they discussed a number of panels regarding higher education problems and the possible ways to treat them; they also discussed the relationships between Arabic and European universities.
In the conference, the president of salahaddin university “Dr. Ahmed Anwer Dezaye” has participated in the first panel of how to internationalize Kurdistan region Universities in general and especially salahaddin university. in this panel, the president of salahaddin university has discussed the higher education state in general and mentioned the interests of kurdistan region government in universities.
In the long seminar, he shed the light on the role of kurdistan region higher education and scientific research ministry of having a strategic plan to internationalize kurdistan universities in doing internal and international conferences. The president of salahaddin university has mentioned the relationships between Salahaddin University and the European universities especially: Berlin Technological University in Computer Science, University of Freiburg in Mechanical Engineering, Airlangga University in Economics, Karlsruhe University of Energy and University of Leipzig in Basic Education and Language; from which, last year the first group of students from this department have been dedicated bachelor certificates in salahaddin university. At the end of the conference, the president of salahaddin university has dedicated the university gifts to the Egyptian higher education minister with the presence of Dr. Sultan Abu Orabi Al- Edwan.
The secretary of Arabic universities union. It’s important to be mentioned that this conference is the third conference after the two conferences which have been held in Barcelona and Amman, it’s planned that next year the fourth conference is to be held in Barcelona.
