In the university presidency office, the President of Salahaddin University the assistant professor Dr. Ahmed Anwer Dezaye welcomed a delegation of Egypt Consulate in the Kurdistan Region headed by Omer Fahmi, the Egyptian General Consul.
In the meeting, besides welcoming the delegation, the President of Salahaddin University expressed his deep thanks to the Egyptian Consul for facilitating education of Kurdistan students in pursuing their studies in Egypt universities. He also talked briefly about higher education in the Kurdistan region and the university master plan and design of the new Salahaddin University campus. In return, the Egyptian Consul expressed his delight for the scientific, academic, economic and political development in the Kurdistan Region.
In the meeting, they also touched upon strengthening the relationship between Egypt universities and Kurdistan universities, especially Salahaddin University, to get benefit from each other’s experience.
