On January 25, 2016, a delegation from Salahaddin University-Erbil led by Professor Ibrahim Hamarash, the vice president of scientific affairs and postgraduate studies joined by Dr.Mohammed Shakir, the dean of the College of Islamic Studies, Dr.Atif Farhadi, the Dean of the College of Languages, Mr. Talaat Tahir, the vice dean of the college of languages visited the Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Erbil.The delegation was warmly welcome by Mr.Morteza Ebadi,the Consul General of Iran and Mr.Mohammad Shirzad, the Cultural Attache at the consulate.
The two parties had a productive and enjoyable meeting that covered a range of issues, including student exchange program between SU and Iranian Universities especially for the department of Persian Language, the upcoming Imam Shafee chain conferences, joint workshops, joint research programs and staff and postgraduate student mobility.
