Salahaddin University-Erbil president welcomed Brian Gray, deputy general manager of British Council in British Embassy in Baghdad who is also the director of education and higher education in the Kurdistan Region.
In the beginning, they discussed the academic projects including teacher training and supporting the universities in the region in terms of English language needs and IELTS in which Brian Gray reiterated support from British Council.
SUE president showed support for the projects, particularly if any premises (including exam halls) are needed to initiate the projects.
Also in the meeting, attended by Dr Hiwa Abdullah, General Director of Research Centre at SUE, they discussed the development of the Language Centre at the University mutually with British counterparts.
