In the presence of Dr. Ahmed Anwar Dezaye, the President of Salahaddin University, and Vice President for Academic Affairs and a number of University lecturers and economics and banking experts in the Kurdistan Region, the College of Administration and Economics organized a seminar for Professor Shakaki Yushika on the Japanese experience and lessons for the Kurdistan economy. The seminar provided a historical background on the Japanese economy and development and the progress achieved in the various economic activities. The presenter also talked about the steps taken after the Second World War. Dr. Shakaki stressed that Kurdistan will become a strong economy in the future because it has various resources; adding that Kurdistan can develop further by focusing on technology.
At the end of the seminar the participants asked questions and raised points of discussion and thanked Professor Shakaki for traveling from Japan to Kurdistan to present his seminar.
