In the university presidency office and with the presence of Dr.Ahmed Anwer Dezaye, the president of Salahaddin University, and all the members of the university council, the fourth meeting has been arranged. In the meeting a number of important decisions have been made regarding education process in the university.
At the beginning of the meeting, the president of Salahaddin University expressed his congratulations to the new deans of the colleges on starting work, he also expressed his wishes that they will start with great energy for working hard in the administrative and academic process of the university.
After that, the president of Salahaddin University expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to all the lecturers, students and the university staff for their effort in the university national grading process to the pioneer and the leader of Kudistan region universities. In the meeting, they also discussed starting 200 PhD students in Kurdistan, besides split site PhD system which started 2 years ago.
On the other hand, they shed light on the number of the new students in Salahaddin University, 5616 students in 80 different departments have been accepted. In the meeting, the university council showed readiness to raise the number of students to 6000 in order to encourage the secondary school graduates. Also, building apartments to the university lecturers via investment was discussed. The meeting was concluded with making a number of decisions.
