The European Union initiated the Rule of Law Project in Iraqi and Kurdistan in 2013 and will continue until 2015. Salahaddin University is the main partner in the project along other partners. As the result of the ISIS terror attacks in July of this year, the Project stopped its activities. Fortunately they decided to restart the Project activities due to the stable situation in Kurdistan. The following participants of today's meeting discussed the Project themes and activities for the near future:
1. Prof. Jan De Groof (Belgium) PhD in International Law;
2. Ulrich Schroeder (Germany) MA in Trade Law, the Team Leader;
3. Shane Cunnane (Ireland) expert in legal IT;
4.Prof. Ibrahim Hamarash, Salahaddin University Vice President for Academic Affairs;
5.Prof. Fatima Rashid, Salahaddin University's Head of Curricula Development ;
6.Mr. Kirmanj Osman, International Law Consultant and Voluntary Assistant for the EU Team.
