In Salahaddin University Social and Cultural Centre and with the presence of a great number of known officials of the political parties and Kurdistan regional government, Dr. Ahmed Anwer Dizayee “the president of salahaddin university”, the president of kurdistan united religion sciences, the president of parliament committees, religion sciences, constitution scientists and university lecturers, an academic symposium Hawler-College of Islamic Sciences under the name of “Religion Role in Constitution” has been arranged. At the beginning of the ceremony and after reading some verses from the Holly Quran, theey paused a minute for kurdistan martyrs. The president of salahaddin university has read a welcome speech.
He stressed in a part of his speech on the role of university lecturers in society. He also added that important issues in all kurdistan organizations it’s imossible to be fulfilled without consulting salahaddin university lectures. One of those important issues is kurdistan region constitution. After that, in a panel in which Dr. Basheer Khaleel Hadad “religion scientist and a former member in kurdistan parliament” has been arranged. Each one of Dr. Osman Mohammed “a lecturer in the college of islamic sciences in salahaddin university”, Dr. Arafat Karam Stoni “religion scientist and a member of Iraq parliament”, Mr. Abdul Rahman Sediq “political observer and religion scientist”, Dr. Sirwan Zahawi “a consultant in the council of ministers and a member of kurdistan region constitution writing”.
There have been a discussion regarding religion role in kurdistan region constitution which lasted for three hours.At the end, the presence have expressed their questions.
It’s also important to be mentioned that since last year salahaddin university has hunderds academic and scientific activities in different subjects.
These activities are so important for kurdistan constitution and for the society.
