Prof. Dr Qadir Mohammed Hassan, from the Department of History at the College of Arts, Salahaddin University (SUE), participated in two international academic conferences within one week, presenting two scientific research papers.
The first was the Fifth International Scientific Conference of Nawroz University in Duhok, held under the title: “Migration and the Displacement of Kurds Throughout History”.
The second was the Sixth International Scientific Conference of Garmian University, organised in collaboration with the University of Bologna (Italy), MISAC, and the Karim Alaka Foundation, under the title: “The Enduring Heritage of the Garmian Region: Antiquities, Identity, and Historical Value”, held in Kalar.
It is worth noting that Prof. Dr Hassan also served as a member of the Scientific Committee of the Garmian University conference and chaired one of its academic panels
