A symposium titled "Federalism: Guarantee of Stability and Coexistence" will be held by Salahaddin University-Erbil (SUE), Soran, Duhok, and Zakho universities.
This symposium emphasizes the importance of the Federal Government's commitment to implementing the Iraqi Constitution. It also supports the preservation of its federal system for the sake of stability, the future of coexistence, and the realization of regional constitutional rights
Kurdistan.
The symposium will also highlight the extent to which the Iraqi Federal Constitution has been implemented. The reasons why the federal government has not taken constitutional steps in implementing some articles of the constitution, including the implementation of Article 140 of the Iraqi Federal Constitution, and the failure to establish the Federal Council and its institutions.
