Kurdish Algebra Project (KAP)
"Groups, Rings, Fields and Galois Theory" A multiple-hands course at Mathematics Department in the college of Science at the Salahaddin University-Erbil, from 2026 to 2032.

Salahaddin University–Erbil, in collaboration with CIMPA, IMU, INDAM, and RNTA, invites bachelor’s (B.Sc.) students or graduated in Mathematics department to join a free academic course. The course will be taught by experienced professors from European universities and offers an excellent opportunity to strengthen mathematical skills and gain international academic exposure.

This project consists of a series of algebra courses at Salahaddin University–Erbil, covering groups, rings, fields, and Galois theory. Running from winter 2026 to summer 2032, the six-year program includes a 50-hour course each year taught by international lecturers. The course runs for 12 consecutive weeks and is divided into six modules, each lasting two weeks. Each week consists of 6 hours of teaching, including 2 hours of exercise sessions.

Algebra is one of the most powerful tools in mathematics, playing a key role in areas such as computer science, cybersecurity, engineering and data science. Therefore, through this course, students will benefit from the latest topics in algebra, providing an opportunity to develop their scientific skills for later academic stages.
