Giovanni Pierangelo Vidari, born on 12 December 1944, graduated with honors in Chemistry from the University of Pavia, Italy, where he became Full Professor of Organic Chemistry in 2000, serving until 2016. He is currently a Visiting Professor at Tishk International University, and teaches organic synthesis in a PhD program at UTPL, Ecuador. His research includes natural product chemistry, stereoselective synthesis, and synthetic methods using organometallic species. He has authored over 300 scientific publications and delivered more than 250 communications at scientific meetings.
