On 19 September 2024, Prof. Dr Kamaran Younis M. Amin, President of Salahaddin University-Erbil, along with Prof. Dr Hussein Saadi, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Prof. Dr Sharif Mawlood Sharif, Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Saman Hussein, Dean of the College of Languages, and Dr Issam Khalil, Director of Relations, welcomed Dr Yann Braem, Consul General of France in Erbil, and his accompanying delegation.
At the beginning of the meeting, the President of SUE expressed his delight at the visit of this delegation and highlighted the colleges and departments of the university, as well as the relationships between SUE and French universities. He also mentioned the student and faculty exchange programs and expressed hope for their continuation and further expansion of relations.
His Excellency, the French Consul General, also expressed his happiness for this reception and referred to the relations between the university and the French Consulate in terms of scientific and academic affairs. He mentioned that they will develop and carry out collaborative and academic work in various fields.
