Ceremony held for acceptance of University Journal for Applied Sciences into the global Scopus database
On 6 August 2024, with the presence of "Dr. Aram Muhammad Qadir - Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Asst. Prof. Dr Kamaran Younis M. Amin - President of Salahaddin University-Erbil (SUE), Omed Khoshnaw - Governor of Erbil, Mr Amanj Bradosti - Head of the University District, private and public universities, members of the University Council, professors, and researchers, a ceremony for the acceptance of the University Journal for Applied Sciences into the global Scopus database was held.
At the beginning of the ceremony, SUE President delivered a speech highlighting the role of university professors and researchers in continuing to publish and write scientific research. He also noted the role of the Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies and the tireless team that has worked effectively over the past months to get the SUE Scientific Journal into the global Scopus database.
It is worth mentioning that on 29 July 2024, the Salahaddin University Scientific Journal for Applied Sciences was accepted into the global Scopus database, which is a great scientific achievement for university researchers and professors.
In another part of the ceremony, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research presented gifts from the university presidency to the team that worked on getting the university journal accepted.
