AVC Academic Plan Activities in Academic year 2019/2020
The Avicenna E-learning Center makes the following activities for the new academic year, as well as the festivals and memorial calendars for the Kurdish and human world from 1st of September 2019 till the 31st of June 2020, along with the special occasions as follows:

Our Center suggests the following Seminars as seen below to be achieved during the new academic year.

2. Training Courses:
The following training courses as seen below are suggested to be achieved:
- Prezi software technology in Education for teachers in five colleges
- MOCCs Program in Education
- Effects of Using IPad technology in Education
- The kindergarten Children and Technology
3. Health and Safety:
Our Center took part in a workshop titled “Working on Health and Safety” by Health and Safety Directorate in our University of Salahaddin:
Civil Defense Training course
On 1-3/9/2019 a training course titled Civil Defense has been hold at the (Social and Culture Center Hall at Salahaddin University.
The training course was hold by the Governor of Health and Safety Department Mr. Rebwar Abdulamjeed for the staff of all Centers and their Directors. Some of our AVC staff members participated in this training course, which lasted for 3 days.
He represented the topic in practice and theoretic, so that all the participants could get benefits of it and learn how to control unwanted fire accidents at their offices.

4. Scientific Visiting

5. Organization and Repairs of Studios 1, 2 and the Training Hall
Our center attempted to provide the technical requirements and new technologies as well as advanced cameras for both studios, but unfortunately it was unfulfilled.
6. Participating in Conferences and Workshops within the Kurdistan Region
- One day Workshop on meeting with IT Experts for all colleges of SUE
- 5 G Technology
- Workshop on the role of youth
- One day workshop on Kurd Genocide
7. E-learning course registration
Our center is ready to record electronic lessons on the following topics by our university professors.
- Our center continues to record the E-lessons by our university professors to change the classical image towards the electronic by way of the studios in the centre, however at the present stage the IT Center was unable to provide for us the necessary size for this purpose.
- Kurdish Genocide from 1926-2016
- The Immortal Barzani’s life in Kurdish, Arabic and English
- Recording the E-lessons for the University Professors who are authors of books. It is the Archive of E-learning
8. Training for the trainers participation
Our center is prepared with a technical team to take part by way of continued teaching for the MA and PhD teachers, which is published MOHE.
9. The Summer Plan of our Center
From 1/7 till 21/8/2019 our center has laid a plan to receive the third year students of these colleges (Administration and Economics, Law and Politics, computer Science in the College of Science, as well as Software from the college of Engineering).
10. The follow – up after the end of the Center’s Project
Our Center attempts as soon as possible by the technical and professional staff members supervised by Dr. Ismail Moussa Murad the director of the center following up more than twenty – two projects presented by the center, approved by the University Council. The writing of proposals began with the technical and financial necessities of the following:
- Driving minibus technology for E-teaching
- The project of granting international degrees on the formatting of Computers
- Providing Video Conferences for the Conference
- Multimedia Examination Project
- E-learning Project to train the teachers in the ministry of Education
- IPad for learning and teaching in the kindergarten of the ministry of education
- Coaching the teachers to become inspectors for the ministry of education
- E-Archive Project for the University Professors who are authors.
11. The festival of Scientific Posters on the day of the foundation of the center in 2010 till 2020 including these activities:
- Workshop of UNESCO for the center’s staff members
- Workshop in the center for the E-learning IT
- Opening courses of training for the holders of diploma, MA, MSC and PhD’s on E-learning.
- Training MA, PhD postgraduate students to change the classical lectures to E-lectures
- Presenting seminars by the university professors regarding E-learning
- Seminars for the university students regarding E-learning
- Presentations
12. We recommend the following:
- Staging an international conference on E-learning in Erbil the capital city in collaboration with Tshik University Supervised by our University
- Providing all the necessities, technical and professional for a modern studio with a video conference in our center for 2019-2020
- Our center recommends the E-learning process for the colleges of Education Halwer, Basic Education Makhmour, and College of Education, college of Education, to facilitate the fourth year results.
- Road – mapping the recording of E-lessons in the center
- Direct support from the ministry for the center and the staff
- Direct support for the center to get the best equipment like I-pads, Cameras to make better presentations
- Plans for each course are necessary
- Servers, smart boards, studio rooms for 24/7
- Uninterrupted online internet
- Maintenance team with IT degrees with continued in-service training courses
- Updating courses and workshops administrative team is necessary with high expertise
