The Director of AVC E-learning Center shared the first national nano-technology one day workshop at Ishik University in cooperation with Salahaddin University in Dec. 24th 2017 and gives the following recommendation as seen below:
Nanotechnology is one of the successfully field in science and technology due to decreases in its size; it can produce remarkable change that will help to human and environment. I am really very proud of what you have accomplished today and so far in this field of workshop. This important workshop which few others are doing, to keep moving forward, we will need to grow fast in this vital field. This technology is very applicable. You can see it today in the lab, and within a year or two, you can see it on the market. This gives the youths the ability to get excited and interested in such research. So we summarized part of my recommendations as following:
- The ability to organize, coordinate, and spot opportunities for the researchers in this field.
- Since we have scientific backgrounds of how the market here works, and cultural aspects, we have trying to advise government, companies, schools, and anybody who might interest in this field technology on how to develop this technology.
- Your final evaluation and feedback by the participants for future plan should be in considerations at the end of the workshop.
- The final seminars in this workshop should be published in a document to be used in follow -on planning activities.
- Looking for local and national organization committee, asking for government funding for this nanotechnology activities to be applicable here in Kurdistan.
- In cooperation with IEEE nanotechnology council for arranging the largest conference and Exhibitions for the coming year here in Kurdistan.
- More training for trainers (Bsc. MSc and PhD) degrees should be hold in the near future on the fundamental of nanotechnology and its applications.
- It is very necessary to establish a very new advanced lab, and very well equipped with the modern demands related to research and training for the university.
