Following the plan for quality assurance for course teaching in Salahaddin University and others here in Kurdistan region so the prompt towards a better research framework for evaluating the effectiveness of educational media is necessary, and to qualify educational training for and lectures (teachers) students is needed as soon as possible under the supervision and guidness of the AVC center of Salahaddin University in Erbil - Avicenna virtual campus ptoject in Iraq.
So towards the future with learning outcomes is nesessary
International trends in education show a shift from the traditional “teacher-centered” approach to a more “student centered” approach. While traditionally the focus was on what the teacher did, in recent years the focus has been on what students have learned and can demonstrate at the end of a module or programmed. Among the key characteristics of outcome-based education listed as follow:
1- The development of clearly defined and published learning outcomes
that must be achieved .
2- The design of a curriculum, learning strategies and learning opportunities
The international movement away from a “teacher-centered” approach to a more “outcome-based” approach to education has gained increased momentum from the Bologna process, with its emphasis on student-centered learning and the need to have more precision and clarity in the design and content of curricula. It is clear that learning outcomes play a key role in ensuring transparency of qualifications and of qualification frameworks.
