Curriculum Development Project with Appalachian State University from March until May 2009.
Our Directorate Participated with two of teachers of English language of first year in a training course held at Reading University during October 28-29-30,2013 for teaching.
English and preparing them to train all teachers of English at Salahaddin University in collaboration with Garnet Educational Publication.
A study visit to Germany and some Law universities as part of EC program: curriculum reform of legal studies in Iraq funded by EC.
Several meetings on curriculum development with Public Universities in Kurdistan in 2010-2011.
Signing a contract with Garnet Education publication regarding a textbook for English Language for 1st year students at SU. In this regard the DCD arranges a pre and post tests for all 1st-year students and takes teachers’ feedback on this course. A training workshop is held every year for the teachers of this course.
Regular meetings for the committee of CD at SU and the board of CD at MHE to follow up the changes and the development in the curriculum of all universities and to issue new regulations in this regard.
Several meetings in 2014 with PAO organization, Women Council, Higher Education committee in the Parliament to blend human rights laws in the university curriculum.
Meetings of committees of (reviewing and developing academic debate course and Kurdology course). These two courses are core courses for 1st-year students and need review, development and feedback.
Some representatives of curriculum development from other universities visit the DCD at SU to share ideas and experience in this regard.
